Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive is a PC game offering highly challenging yet fun and easy-to-learn gameplay. You are in control of a gang of six desperados (John Cooper and his five allies), who you lead through 25 challenging levels. In each level you'll face a large number of obstacles and enemies. Your task is to make your way through each level without getting caught or killed. The basic game concept is based on the simple and unique idea of mixing infiltration, action, and tactics. Desperados takes inspiration from the most famous infiltration games and adds more relevant team management and tactical aspects, largely thanks to a 2-D view. The story is communicated through the 25 levels with beautifully rendered graphics. Six tutorial missions are integrated into the scenarios, allowing players to learn, test, and familiarize themselves with each newly introduced character's actions. The game features many different atmospheres: day, night, sunset, storm, half-light, outside, inside, large towns, villages, shadow towns, fortresses, gold mines, cotton fields, swamps, camps, saloons, jails, a steamboat, floods, waterfalls, caverns, fires, traps, rifle fires, escapes, and other swindles. Use classic confrontational methods such as knife throwing, brawling, sound diversions, dynamite and powder barrels, rattlesnakes, chemicals, lures, seduction, blinding, and even a surprisingly mischievous monkey.
