Unlike most countries in the Western world, divorce does not exist in the Philippines. The only way to terminate a marriage recorded in the Philippines is to process an annulment case through the Philippine judiciary system
Marriage as a social institution is so revered in the Philippines that the 1987 Constitution actually includes a Section 2 writing "Marriage, as an inviolable social institution, is the foundation of the family and shall be protected by the State." Further, in Section 1 it is written "The State recognizes the Filipino family as the foundation of the nation. Accordingly, it shall strengthen its solidarity and actively promote its total development.
However, the government does recognize certain conditions for which voiding a marriage would be considered. The Family Law Code of the Philippines specifically deals with annulments and it sets forth under four Articles (35,36,37,38 and 45) in Chapter 3 of the Code the conditions under which an annulment can be considered.
The filing of an annulment case in the Philippine legal system is available to anyone who was married in the Philippines. This includes both Philippine citizens and foreigners, and both those individuals currently residing in the Philippines and those residing outside the Philippines. Any Philippine citizen married in the Philippines who remarries without an annulment granted by the Court would be committing bigamy in the Philippines. As long as one is still a Philippine citizen, any divorce granted by a court outside of the Philippines is not recognized by the Philippine government.
The time for an annulment case (called a "Petition for Annulment of Marriage") can vary significantly, as no two cases are the same. Some involve child custody issues and property issues. Some are contested while others are uncontested. The initial filing requires extensive documentation, and some petitioners are quicker to deliver the documentation to their lawyer, while others drag their feet. In general, a "simple" case could take 12 to 15 months, whereas a more complex case could take up to two years.
For a foreigner seeking an annulment, the cost is not so much the issue as is knowing where to start, who to trust, who to communicate with who can act as a liaison or bridge between their annulment need and the Philippines legal system process.
Lawyers handling annulment cases in the Philippines normally request a 50% deposit in advance, which is placed in a trust fund, and drawn against as the case proceeds. Depending on each lawyer's policy on the matter and what you negotiate, the balance is usually paid on a "as you go" basis, meaning once the trust fund amount is depleted, you will be billed and expected to pay as the work proceeds.
The decision to file for an annulment is a serious and expensive matter. Just remember, in those deepest moments of frustration and emotional pain, the sun sets each day, but it always rises the next day. For every valley you are walking in, there is always a mountaintop you will soon be standing on. It is the cycle of life - whenever you are suffering pain, get ready for the good times, because good times always follow bad times.

PLEASE help me on Drawn To Life: The Next Chapter?
OK, so I heard what the ending of it is like, (making me unsure about beating the game) but on the Drawn To Life wiki, I saw something that said about Salem, "...after that he can only be found through the Secret Gate" so that hab me thinking, what DOES happen when ya' beat Wilfre and that stupid ending plays anyhow? Do I start all over? Do I start back on the last boss? Do I unlock something after I beat the game? (Which explains the "Secret Gate" the wiki mentioned.) Just what happens? I have spent part of 2-3 days on the wiki and YouTube (mainly YouTube, both failed, though I did see some neat glitch videos) trying to figure it out! Help me.
Once you finally defeat Wilfre, you see the ending play and then whoop de do you're back in the Raposa World again and everyone is saying 'You've got to defeat Wilfre!' No matter how many times you kill him, the game will take you back to before you've killed him. Stupid, huh?

Lotus 1-2-3 Vs. Excel Vs. Google Docs
Upon their release in the early 80's Microsoft Excel and Lotus 1-2-3 offered similar products measured by both quality and efficiency. They each associated themselves with different systems which in turn determined their place in the market for the next two decades. It seems that we may be embarking on another turn of events with the availability of free web hosted applications such as Google Docs & Spreadsheets and Zoho Office.
Lotus was not the only spreadsheet program in the early 80's but it was the most efficient. Following its release in 1983 Lotus was innovative in using television consumer advertising. Things looked great for Lotus for a number of years due to its speed and similarity to the model of VisiCalc, including the A1 number and letter cells, and slash-menu structure. It was virtually free of bugs and outperformed the slower DOS screen input/output functions. In addition to being a spreadsheet it also featured integral charting/graphing and database operations. Hence, its name 1-2-3 which references its three main capabilities.
Data was sorted in each defined rectangle within the order of data in one or two columns in the rectangular area. One could also justify text within a certain range into paragraphs which allowed it to act as a primitive word processor. It contained user friendly features such as keyboard driven pop-up menus and one-key-commands. Lotus' most notable user friendly feature was a context sensitive help menu accessed by the F1 key.
Version 2.0 introduced macros and add-ins. This resulted in outside vendors being able to sell macro and add-ins packages which ranged form full fledged word processors to dedicated financial worksheets. Version 2.0 contained macros with syntax and commands as well as a string of variable expressions which were similar in complexity to an advanced BASIC interpreter. In versions to follow Lotus 1-2-3 also supported multiple worksheets. Lotus also created a version of 1-2-3 for the HP 200LX, a palmtop released by Hewlett-Packard.
Excel was offered first for Mac in 1985 and then for Windows in 1987. In comparison to Lotus, Excel's introduction offered all the number crunching capabilities plus pull down menus and WYSIWYG formatting. These two features resulted in Excel being much easier to use. By 1988 Excel outsold 1-2-3 and began to solidify its place as the leading PC software developer. Microsoft proved to be an ambitious competitor, by maintaining a valuble product and releasing new versions approximately every two years. Excel has also kept up with its Mac releases. The current version for the Windows is Excel 12 or Microsoft Office Excel 2007. The current version for Mac OS X is Microsoft Excel 2008.
Looking back, it seems that in 1982 when Microsoft offered its spreadsheet program titled Multiplan it was popular with CP/M systems but MS-DOS systems favored Lotus 1-2-3. MS-DOS clearly prevailed as the more predominant system, thus, Lotus 1-2-3 as the more predominant spreadsheet program. In the late 80's Microsoft put together Excel, an upstart spreadsheet for its Windows graphical interface. Lotus was focused on IBM OS/2. Windows use boomed with Windows 3.0 but Lotus had already lost its lead. Excel become the industry leader for spreadsheet computer software. IBM continues to sell 1-2-3 as part of the Lotus SmartSuite office suite.
The trends are shifting again with the availability of free web hosted applications such as Google Docs & Spreadsheets and Zoho Office. This is sure to provide a challenge for Excel to maintain its prestigious position however; it will not be a clear comparison as the online applications are a different product. They do not imitate Excel and 1-2-3 but expand on them. They use the power of the webs collaboration, instant feedback, mashups, live data and context searches. None the less it will be interesting to see Microsoft's future maneuvers!

Put Some Groove In Virtual Offices
If you have been operating a virtual office, you should have noticed some of the inconvenience and dullness of having a virtual office. Everything is done over the internet and face to face communication is minimized to the very least. It feels like everyone's going about their business and not giving a second thought to who's in the virtual team.
The first problem that needs to be addressed is therefore communication. To ensure that everyone stays in touch with each other and not leave out some of the virtual team members, there is a program called the groove virtual office. Groove virtual office uses a peer-to-peer networking model to connect users within the team. They can hold online meetings, store files and folders, save threaded discussions, scribble on whiteboards, share calendars, and track project information and timelines. Groove virtual office could also update each user on the changes made by anyone. If the users are offline when changes are made, the updates are delivered as soon as they log on.
Besides that, there is also the problem on the physical contact exposure within virtual team members. The employer therefore has to take pragmatic steps to strengthen the bonds within the virtual team. This can be done by treating them for dinner once in a while or simply going for a night out by clubbing. Team building activities like jungle trekking, camping, hiking, scuba diving and other recreational activities could also be added into the list. Fortunately, controlling the noise generated by a bothersome air conditioning unit is a fairly simple yet highly effective soundproofing endeavor. Implementing a partial enclosure sound reduction treatment can help control the noise produced by your air conditioner, creating a more peaceful environment inside and outside your home.
Controlling the noise generated by an outdoor air conditioning unit involves enclosing the unit within a frame and affixing outdoor sound blankets designed to prevent airborne noise from bleeding through. The frame may be constructed using a number of materials, including wood, steel or iron, as long as the structure is capable of supporting the heavyweight sound blankets that will be affixed to it. Ideally, the frame should protrude two to three feet above the height of the unit for maximum effectiveness. It is important to note that sound reduction for air conditioning units requires taking into consideration the functionality of the air conditioning equipment. Let's be honest. There is nothing in the summer time like a good hot dog, hamburger and some fresh corn on the cob. Unfortunately, with the large number of farms going out of business because of rising costs, it's hard to find a farm close by to get your fresh picked corn. The question is, how can you tell if an ear of corn is fresh and how do you keep it fresh? The answers may surprise you unless you're experienced with this sort of thing. For starters, the first thing you have to know is that corn does not stay fresh very long. So the first thing you want to do is make sure you don't buy your corn until the day you plan on cooking it. That way you are sure to have the freshest corn possible. Of course, that doesn't mean that the corn you find in the supermarket is going to be fresh. So how can you tell?
Most people think they have to open up the corn and look at it to see if it is fresh or check the outside husk. Actually, neither of these methods is a sure fire way to tell. For one thing, the husk, which should be green, is often times removed by the supermarket so there is no way to tell by that method. As far as looking at the corn itself, well, as soon as you start removing the husk, the corn starts to lose its freshness. No, there is only one sure fire way to tell if an ear of corn is fresh and that is by the tassel at the end of it. If the tassel is soft and silky then the corn is fresh. It's that simple. If it's starting to get hard and brittle or if it has been removed, then it is not fresh.
Okay, so you've found your fresh corn at the supermarket. The problem you now face is how to keep it fresh once you've brought it home. Well, actually, this is quite simple. For one thing, you don't want to open up the husk at all, at least not until you're ready to cook it. Once you get home, put on a large pot of water and bring it to a boil. While the water is getting ready to boil do not remove the husk from the corn. Wait until the water is boiled and then remove the husk. After you have done this, place the corn in the boiling water. Once you do this, the water will stop boiling. The final question is how long to cook the corn for. This is again, very simple. You leave the corn in the water for about 3 to 5 minutes. No longer.
By doing this, you are sure to pick not only the freshest but the sweetest corn possible. Contrary to popular belief, it doesn't matter if the corn is yellow or white. It is not the color of the corn that determines sweetness. It is how fresh it is because the sugar in corn that is not fresh turns to starch and that is why corn that isn't fresh is also not sweet.

This answer has a very deep scientific meaning because we know the fingertips of each one are special entity that is different from one to another in their fingerprint. Each one of us has its own fingerprint.
That is why, the meaning of restoration of fingertips in the Afterlife uses the scientific findings of fingerprint to serve up an important religious purpose which is the topic of the Afterlife.
This meaning is not found in the Bible.

Raising Children – is Parental Influence Important?
Parenting does not come naturally to everybody. It is a learning process with lots of struggles and hair-pulling along the way. Of course, there will be lots of joy as well when you watch your child grow up healthily and happily. During the times when your older child refuses to listen to you or talks back to you, do you wonder if your child was under the bad influence of his peers? Or could it be parental influence actually? Have you ever argued with your spouse over trivial issues in front of your young children? When your child refuses to read, did you stop to ask yourself do you read with them at night from young? Or was the television turned on full blast while shouting to your children to complete their homework? This article will look at the importance of parental influence through Maria Montessori’s point of view.
Montessori believed that every child has the ability to incarnate or self-construct. This is necessary in order for the child to grow and develop normally and healthily. Man differs from animals in that we have to develop our human intelligence first, so the natural instincts that are present in animals do not show themselves immediately in a child. The child has to go through the sensitive periods in order to allow for the development of his personality as Montessori has written in her book that “the child has a special, unique capacity for profiting … in order to grow, for it is during the sensitive period that he acquires certain psychological faculties, like that of orienting himself in his outer environment, and becomes able to bring his motor organs to life in all their intimate and delicate particulars”. (Secret of Childhood, p.39)
It is during this period, when the child is young, that he will absorb everything that is happening around him. Therefore, if the parents are constantly arguing, or use vulgarities unknowing in front of the child, he will absorb it in his unconscious mind. When the time is ‘ripe’, this piece of knowledge that is in him will surface and what he says, how he behaves are actually clear reflections of his parents’ behaviour before him each day.
It is a misconception to believe that a child is simply an empty being, incapable of doing anything for himself or of leaning things on his own. To best teach the child, it is important for parents to understand that a child will go through several different sensitive periods and such sensitive periods are important because during each period, only that particular characteristic is developed, and not others as the “child (is) sensitive only towards certain things, leaving him indifferent towards others”. (Secret of Childhood, p.39) In fact, this period will disappear once the skill is learnt as “every characteristic is established by the help of an impulse, of a transient sensibility which lasts over a limited period”. (Secret of Childhood, p.36) Therefore, if the child was unable to learn that particular skill during the relevant sensitive period, he will lose his chance of ever learning it naturally. He might be able to pick it up much later in life but it will be at the expanse of a great struggle.
Montessori mentioned that a child goes through six sensitive periods namely, ‘sensitivity to order’, ‘learning through their five senses’, ‘sensitivity to small objects’, ‘sensitivity to or-ordination of movement’, ‘sensitivity to language’ and sensitivity to social aspect of life’. All these different periods will take place at different point of the child’s life and thus it is important for the adult to observe the child carefully to find out what interest and stimulates him at each particular period in order to teach him as the child “must be observed rather than analyzed”. (Secret of Childhood, p.7)
The child can be first discovered to be sensitive to order even at a very young age. As the young child does not have a good memory, he remembers by absorbing the things around him. So, he needs to ‘memorize’ his environment to help him find his way around and to get familiar with the place. Thus, should there be any slight changes to what is normally done, the child will be able to identify it right away and will get very upset by the change. I personally have such an experience with my son when he was around six months old. I had hung a napkin above his head to block out excessive light and to prevent the air-conditioner from blowing at him directly. However, when he woke up in the middle of the night, he started crying incessantly which is something very unusual of him. I tried a few different attempts to pacify him such as giving him the pacifier, singing to him and patting him but nothing worked. As a final resort, I removed the napkin which was the only new addition to his environment and immediately, he stopped crying and fell asleep again!
As a child does not have any experience of the world around him, he needs to learn about his surrounding through his five senses. By touching the different materials and objects around him, the child gets to explore and this will help to develop his neurological system. As such, it is the adults’ responsibility to provide a safe environment and lots of encouragement for the child to build up his confidence and desire to explore. The child must have lots of suitable objects around him in which he can hear, see, touch, taste and smell. If the parents are not open to new things such as trying out new food or show their dislike at classical music, the child will also not develop an interest in these areas.
A child will start to talk very early in his life, around the age of 1.5 years. During this period, he will astonish the adults with his ability in uttering the sounds that he had heard. From birth to now, the child has been internalizing all the human sounds that he heard all around him and now, he will start to imitate the speaking sounds. In fact, a child will start to make sounds like that of syllabus very early in life but the pronunciation will be much clearly during this sensitive to language period. Thus, it does not mean that so long as ‘perfect language’ is used before the child when he is learning to talk, he will not pick up any ‘imperfect language’. The parents must also be careful what is said or done when the child is young as such unacceptable words will be uttered by the child when he can talk as he would have absorbed them when he was much younger. Thus, parents – beware of what you say or do in front of your infants! Parental influence is definitely the greatest in a child’s life!

Montessori wise (picture folders)?
I was just wondering is it possible,apart from all your equipment that you have in the classroom to do folders which contain all pictures of different subject matter??? There will also be extra activities (such as colouring in pictures,activities-if any,possible readers) for them.
Also wanted to know could I possibly put the pictures of each section on different colour cardboard (geography-blue,music-green,etc) or will that confuse them with the continents & should rather keep the cardboard colours to white????
I also wanted to know for the nomenclatures, if you are making your own sets, what size do they have to be???? and where can you get pictures from for the nomenclatures???
I do the same as the person said above. I just surf the net using Google or Yahoo Images for what I am looking for. My nomenclature cards are all 14 x 14 cm (just like metal inset papers) as that is the size we were told to make them in our training. Although, I make mine slightly smaller to fit 2 cards to a page, so not to waste too much paper. I have seen other files that people have made that fit 4 cards to a page... Personally I like the larger ones...
I would also likely stick to the white cardboard for your other pics. Not only are the continent folders color coded, but also math and language materials...
