Victoria Beckham; Fashion Designer Extraordinaire
Victoria Beckham has just launched her second collection of designer clothes in New York and it would seem that this collection has been received well by the fashion critics. I have to say that apart from the price tag (ranging from £900 to £4000) these clothes look wearable, even for the average woman, not just film stars, pop singers and socialites. The dresses are chic and cut simply with a great deal of attention to detail. Unlike some designers whose cat walk collections are prototype exaggerations of clothes women might wear, Victoria’s range is definitely ready to wear.
I can’t help thinking that Victoria has designed clothes with her own body shape in mind, but who can blame her! What woman wouldn’t like the opportunity to have clothes made to exactly to her taste and body shape? Often, when I am looking for clothes, I have a very definite idea in my mind of what I am looking for, and often I have to compromise on colour or cut. Imagine being able to pick something up and have it made in a different colour!
Victoria Beckham is tiny and has a perfect hourglass figure. The clothes in her collection are cut for curves and narrow shoulders. An “inverted triangle” might struggle with the boat neck lines which would accentuate the breadth of the shoulder and the draping fabrics and fitted waist lines would be challenging for “rectangles”. Most of the dresses are in basic neutral colours that will withstand the years and the designs are classic enough to last more than one season.
I am somewhat sceptical about how much “designing” Victoria has done. Designers train for years at art school and still don’t make it. I wonder if she actually draws the pictures herself or whether she has a “sketcher” who puts her ideas into drawings. I have no doubt that she has put a great deal of thought into what she wanted to achieve and made all the decisions about the final cut. Her detailed knowledge of every dress is very evident.
While I cannot justify the price tag, I am glad to see a collection of attractive and interesting yet wearable clothes and I wish Victoria Beckham well with this venture.

The month's full moon has come and gone and that peculiar malady known as March Madness almost is upon us.
Selection Sunday and spring's annual Big Dance are just around the corner, after America's college basketball conferences wipe up some unfinished business of their own.
Most leagues with postseason tourneys begin competition on Thursday.
Las Vegas oddsmaker Ken White says it's "easy" to forecast the NCAA Tournament's top four seeds: Florida, North Carolina, Kansas and Ohio State.
"And when I say that, I'm ranking them in order," he noted.
Ohio State (27-3) currently sits atop the Associated Press' national hoops poll, but White is sticking with Florida (26-5) to again win it all.
The Gators have dropped three games in the last three weeks to SEC opponents Vanderbilt, LSU and Tennessee.
"Teams need something to play for," White theorized.
"Florida already had its division clinched and already had lost a conference game (to the Commodores), so they couldn't play for an undefeated (league) season.
"There wasn't any motivation."
The Buckeyes, he says, are starting an all-freshman team, while the defending champion and sixth-ranked Gators are laden with experience.
"If they were playing tomorrow, Florida would be a 3 1/2 to 4-point favorite," White declared.
The managing partner of Las Vegas Sports Consultants, which supplies lines to a great majority of Nevada bet shops as well as clients elsewhere, thinks the ACC is is the USA's leading conference, while the SEC is its most underrated.
"The thing is the SEC has some good teams (in the Eastern Division), but The West is weak," White said.
"The Big 12 is very good this year and the Big 10 is the weakest."
White believes bettors still can find a few futures values, though he claims the best time to shop was closer to the holidays.
"The best time to buy futures is in December or early January," he said.
"I've been pushing Georgetown for months, for example, but the number has really sunk."
The Hoyas, 40/1 in January, are now 8/1.
Texas A&M, another club White has been high on, also is 8/1, down from 25/1.
Two teams the handicapper-turned-oddsmaker considers legitimate sleepers are Pitt and Louisville.
"Pittsburgh has the talent to win it all and right now Louisville is playing as well as anyone," White said.
"I really like their coach (Rick Pitino)."
The 13th-ranked Panthers (25-6) are holding steady at 18/1, while No. 12 Louisville (22-8), winner of six straight since losing to Georgetown a month ago, has dropped from 100/1 to 25/1.
White also cautions players not to overlook No. 21 Duke (22-9).
The Blue Devils, perennial contenders under Coach Mike Krzyzewski, are having a down year by school standards, but White says they shouldn't be ignored.
The Mirage has Duke at 15/1, half the 30/1 it was a month ago.
"And watch out for Maryland (24-7)," White said.
The Terrapins, national champs in 2002, are ranked 17th.
Nevadans need look no further than their own backyard to find teams capable of making some tournament noise, the oddsmaker adds.
Both state schools are among the country's Top 25, with Nevada (27-3) ranked 10th and UNLV (25-6) 25th.
The Wolfpack has tumbled from 50/1 to 30/1, while the Rebels remain at 100/1.
"UNLV looks like it will get a decent seed now," White said.
"For a while it looked like they might have to play a top seed or No. 2 in their first game."
As for the Wolfpack, White couldn't find enough positive things to say about star Nick Fazekas.
"He can do everything," White said.
"Whoever gets him in the NBA draft will be getting a real steal.
"I thought for a while he might go in the Top 5, but he's been pushed down.
"He'll still go in the first round, though -- somewhere between 15th and 25th -- and I see him having having a 10-year career averaging 16 to 18 points a game.
"He's a great team player."
Those seeking more of a sure thing can always turn to nearby UCLA.
The Bruins, who lost to the Gators, are 26-4 and ranked fourth.
They've slipped from 8/1 in futures books to a current 9/2.
"I have UCLA as a second-tier team right now," White said.
"They should get a No. 2 seed, maybe No. 3."
White also notes the days of laughing at Winthrop are over.
He says the Eagles, who have made seven tournament appearances in the last nine years, could be this year's version of George Mason, the 2006 "Cinderella team."
"They're the long shot," White said.
Winthrop cracked the rankings in 24th this week, but was still 750/1 at the Mirage.

Passionate Detachment - Soul Freedom
Carlos Castaneda has written a series of remarkable books in which he describes his shamanic apprenticeship with the Yaqui sorcerer Don Juan. Don Juan advises Castaneda that a man of knowledge (an impeccable warrior) chooses a path and follows it with heart, acting as if what he does matters, even though he knows that it does not, and understanding that nothing is more important than anything else.
Passion acts with great enthusiasm, extraordinary intensity, and deep feelings. Detachment lets go of all concern for the results of the action. Upon first consideration, it might seem as if passion and detachment don’t belong together. You might conclude that if you were detached you would not feel strongly about a situation, but would be indifferent, feeling little or nothing. Detachment without passion, a boring dullness of caring about nothing, is a dreadful state of consciousness. No wonder so few have chosen detachment as a serious spiritual practice.
When Don Juan advises “act as if what you do matters,” he is suggesting action with passion. When you act with passion, you feel truly, completely alive. This is because passion exists only in the now moment—you feel passion now or not at all. On the other hand, detachment is about the future. Detachment means you completely surrender and let go of your concern for the future outcome of your action. You are not detached about the action itself. On the contrary, you are filled with passion in the now moment.
Detachment flows naturally from the wisdom of acknowledging Don Juan’s advice that “nothing matters more than anything else.” What you do does not really matter in the sense that ultimately you have no control over anything. Outcomes or results might not be anything like what you intend them to be. All you have is choice about what you will do and how you will be in the now moment. You are able to let go of concern for the results of your actions because you understand that each individual is a tiny part of something infinitely vast and wonderful which you influence but cannot control.
When you understand that you have control over nothing, your response can be despair or detachment. Despair is powerless while detachment is a quality of Soul Freedom. Soul knows you don’t need control. All is as it should be. Your life is unfolding as part of a grand cosmic natural order. You fit into that larger natural order whether you want to or not and whether you are aware of it or not. Your challenge and opportunity is to say yes to what is—all of it, exactly as it is, for better or worse right here, right now.
It is a paradox that making choices can both bring freedom to you and also rob you of it. That you can make choices is the chief characteristic of all freedom, but if you are attached to the outcomes of your action, you lose freedom as soon as you obtain it. You become a slave to your choices, stuck in a self-constructed rut. If you worry about the results of your actions, you are robbed of the natural joy of being fully present in the now moment. However, by making choices, by acting with passion, and by being detached from the results of your actions, you remain completely free. You act boldly without taking yourself too seriously.
In your relationship, passionate detachment means putting the best of yourself into your life together. Allow your creativity to shine forth in your actions, to reveal your love, respect, and desire, but without expectation of your mate’s response. You might plan to be together forever, and do your best to make that happen, but you know that you have no real control over the future—accident, illness, or adversity can separate you. Nevertheless, don’t let that stop you from committing to a lifetime of loving.

We are renewing our vows1!! I want to write my own...?
I am looking for a few suggestions...I am pregnant with a very unexpected baby and had to go to the psychiatric unit for a few days because I was sooo depressed about it..I'm being treated for bipolar to top it all off and I already have 3 kids...And my husband of 2 years left me while I was in the hospital and it devastated me, I had no one or nothing left! He left because he couldn't handle all my problems plus another baby but the good news is he came home and moved back in the day I was discharged.
He said on the way home he wants to renew our vows and we decided to write our own instead of the usual.
Sooo, my mind is a blank...I've loved him for soo long and I'm no good with poetry but if anyone has ever written your own vows where did you go for resources and how did you start them out...I thought about something like "Your are my knight in shining armor, the lover of my soul" does that sound corny?
Thanks for answering my question earlier.
I'm stuck on this and worried I migtht write the wrong thing. I'm feeling a bit cynical on this subject at the moment. My immediate thought was are you going to regret saying this about this person. I mean he deserted you while you were at your most vulnerable. That must have hurt. I felt like saying, careful not to get too carried away thinking of him as your Knight in Shining Armour, he wasn't like this when you were at your most vulnerable in hospital. Perhaps you're just feeling like this because you've had a recent reunion and still a bit high from that.
On the other hand, I don't know all the details. Perhaps he is all right. Perhaps he is a rock and needed a break when you were in hospital and was suffering from his own little break down and was vulnerable himself and unable to take care of you and that you were better off with professionals.
Anyway, sorry, I will get to the point of the question! Um. Careful not to committ yourself too much and make too many promises is a though that just ran through my mind. On the other hand if you do both make lots of good promises to be good to each other, then you should have a good, happy and healthy marriage.
Yes. Now I'm feeling more positive. This marriage vow thing is an excellent idea!! Wow! I wish I had done this.
You can write down all the things you can do for each other througout your marriage, for life, to make sure that you both look after each other and are never horrible to each other.
You can promise to be nice to each other. Promise to introspect and minotor yourself and keep yourself in check to stop yourself behaving badly. Promise to help each other improve and be happy and secure. To never put each other down. You should promise to nuture each other like a baby, plant or pet needs care. To listen and be understanding. To work hard and not let each other down. To tell each other you love each other everyday. To complement each other when they have done something good and so say when something is not good, but in a positive and nurturing way to keep the team morale up.

All-Star Baseball 2004 is the game with all the tools -- it's the realistic baseball simulation that plays like an MLB broadcast! Rookie Mode prepares you for your attempt to make it in the big leagues!
All-Star Baseball certainly lives up to its name. It offers the largest stable of former greats, some 50 in all, and it even offers many of the standouts and stars from the old Negro Baseball League. Its obvious Acclaim decided the best way to deal with the competition is to match it in terms of baseball prowess, but at the same time, outdo them in terms of extras: All-Star throws shovelfuls of extras. Extras like a trivia game, stadium tours, and DVD content. It even includes classic ballparks, just in case you really miss Shibe Park. There are seven fantasy ballparks in currently baseball-free North American cities, and you can pick and choose from over 30 mascots, making the expansion team options all the more interesting. All-Star also offers a deep franchise mode that rivals text simulations like Over the Top Baseball. Baseball lives and dies by the pitcher/batter duel and All-Star has you covered here. How? By offering every option the competition can muster. You can use a cursor system (like MVP Baseball), a timing based system (less realistic, but good for new players), and a system like High Heat where you have to watch the ball carefully (most realistic). Each system works but the cursor-based option could is sub par: the information regarding where and when to swing appears too late. The gameplay has other flaws. Fielding feels soft, unresponsive and slow, and the AI is stupidly aggressive at times: stealing when it shouldn't and slugging when a sacrifice is called for. All-Star has good graphics--not the best available but very good and the animations are all smooth and lifelike. You can even identify many players by their batting stance alone. The audio is a standout, specifically the commentary, which is accurate, insightful, and even includes entertaining side conversations about the rules and quirks of the game. All-Star isn't quite the best baseball game you can buy for your console system, but it offers the best overall package if you aren't sure what you want. Good gameplay, good graphics, lots of options and extras, and a nice range of hitting options. Play ball! --Andrew S. Bub Pros: Nice range of pitching/batting options Good graphics Terrific Audio Cons: Uneven, overly aggressive, artificial intelligence

What is a Free Agent?
A free agent is a player with 6 years of experience who is not under contract and is available to sign with all thirty major league baseball franchises.
Also, a free agent could be a player who entered the major league draft but was not drafted or a player who was drafted but did not want to sign with that team, might still enter the market and become a free agent. This sometimes works well.
Something else you might here about is arbitration. A player with over 3 years or a very good player with 2 years of major league experience is eligible for arbitration. You might ask yourself "What in the world is arbitration?" When a player is offered arbitration, they go to an arbitrator. The team and the player both make offers. The arbitrator decides which offer is the best. Sometimes the arbitrator sides with the player. Sometimes he sides with the team. Or sometimes they don't offer player arbitration at all and let him be a free agent. Sometimes a player is offered arbitration by a team, but does not want to go through that. If the player is a type A player (see below) then the team that will sign him must give the team that he was offered arbitration a signing club's first-round draft pick and a supplemental pick between the first and second rounds. If the player is a type B player, they must give the other team just the supplemental pick between the first and second rounds. Confused? Here is a way of understanding it.
There are two sides, the team and the player. The team gives a price they think that is fair and the player gives a price that he thinks is fair. Then the arbitrator chooses the price that he thinks is fair. The player must accept. If the team offers to go into arbitration but the player does not want to, he becomes a free agent unless he signs a contract before the December 12th non-tender date. The team the player signs with will give up draft spots. If the player is very good, the team he signs with must give up two draft spots. If they are only okay, they must give up only one. Or a team can choose not to offer it at all and let the player be a free agent. Make sense now?
Here's an arbitration success story.
The Phillies originally had the 41st pick in the MLB 2006 June draft. But they signed Tom Gordon, a relief pitcher. Gordon had been offered Salary Arbitration by the Yankees, his former team, but declined. So the Phillies had to give the Yankees the 41st overall pick in the draft. The Yankees used that spot to secure iconic pitcher Joba Chamberlain.
You might also wonder what type A and B free agents are. It's basically a way of providing draft picks to clubs for signing free agents who are offered arbitration and ranked in the top 50 percent of Major League players, as ranked by a company called the Elias Sports Bureau. The top 20 percent are Type A players, you see. These players are in the top circuit of players. They are the best free agents. The type B players are sort of the secondary players. They aren't as good. So, the type A are great and the type B are okay. Sometimes a team will offer arbitration to a player just for the draft picks.
There are also special rules for different players with different years of experience. If a player has less than 3 years of major-league experience, he can just have his contract renewed. That is, if his contract runs out, and the two sides can't agree on a contract, the team can just pay at least 80% of what he made last year to play for the team again for one more year.
A player is only eligible for arbitration if he has between 3 and 6 years of major-league experience.
History of free agents
When baseball became very successful in the 1890s, owners tried to think of a way to limit salaries. They knew if players could go from team to team, the salaries would be enormous due to the competing teams constantly upping the money to attract the player. So they came up with a "reserve clause," which pretty much kept a player bound for life to a team unless they were traded, sold, released, or retired. The salary was an agreement between the owner and player, but if they couldn't agree, the player had two options: play for a reduced amount or don't play. This was how it was until 1969, when slick fielding center fielder Curt Flood was traded from the Cardinals to the Phillies, but he refused! He demanded Commissioner Bowie Kuhn to make him a free agent, but he would not. This went all the way to the Supreme Court. Flood had filed a lawsuit, claiming the team had violated the nation's anti-trust policy. His efforts would eventually help establish free agency and make him a forgotten hero who cleared the path for the multi-million dollar athletes today. Flood never really even got to enjoy the fruits of his labor, by the way, as he played only 13 games for the Washington Senators before retiring. Jackie Robinson was great, and everybody will remember him, but in a way, Flood stood up for his rights, too. Although he is not a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame, Flood is an unsung legend of the baseball world.
Japanese Free Agents
Sometimes, star Japanese players want to make a change. They want to come to America. They become free agents. Baseball is huge in Japan, but it's even bigger in the US. The fans, the lights, the media, the money! These star Eastern players love the US. Here are a couple of former and current Japanese stars.
Hideo Nomo-Dodgers, Mets, Brewers, Tigers, Red Sox, Devil Rays, Royals
Hideo Nomo burst onto the scene in 1995 as the National League Rookie of the Year with a league leading 236 strikeouts along with 13 wins and a 2.54 ERA. Over his 12 year career, he won 123 games and struck out 1918 batters. Nomo enjoyed 5 successful years in Japan before becoming a huge star in the US, proving Japanese players were as good as any other ones.
Ichiro Suzuki-Mariners
The best and most recognizable Japanese player, Ichiro has continued his amazing run of success in the states. He's only been here since 2001 but he's set numerous hitting records, the most amazing a record-setting performance of 262 hits in 2004! He also had an outrageous .372 batting average. Ichiro has had 200 hits and a .300 batting average every year he's been in America. Ichiro broke Wee Willie Keeler's 108 year old record for most consecutive seasons with 200 hits, with nine since his inaugural season.
Hideki Matsui-Yankees and Angels
Hideki doesn't have the name ‘Godzilla' for nothing. He's put up monster numbers since his MLB debut in 2003. He finished second in the Rookie of the Year voting in 2003. In 2004, he hit 32 home runs. He played in a record 519 straight games to start off his career before breaking his wrist in a freak accident. He put up more numbers this year, hitting 28 homers with 90 RBI's and winning the World Series MVP Award last season by hitting .615 in the Fall Classic. He has hit 140 homers in America, a record for Japanese-born players. After 7 years with the Yankees, Matsui signed a 1 year, $6.5 million dollar deal with the Angels to be their 2010 designated hitter.
Daisuke Matsuzaka-Red Sox
Matsuzaka was the top-sought Japanese free agent before the 2007 season. The Red Sox nabbed this star who put up a 2.95 ERA with 108 wins and 1,335 strikeouts. He posted a 15-12 record with a healthy 4.40 ERA and 201 strikeouts in his rookie year. He led the Red Sox to a World Championship in 2007. In 2008, he had a great year, winning 18 games and finishing with an excellent 2.90 ERA. Although he had an injury plagued 2009 season, he still helped Boston win the wild card to get into the playoffs for the 3rd straight year.
Kosuke Fukudome-Cubs
Kosuke had a great 2008 rookie campaign, starting the All-Star game in Yankee Stadium, and earning 6th place in Rookie of the Year voting. The former Chuchini Dragon followed that up by raising his batting average in 2009.
Big Signings
There have been a couple of $100 million dollar deals in the history of the game, even some $200 million! Here's a look at some of the biggest free agent signings in history.
Alex Rodriguez-$275 million, 10 years
It appeared to be "see ya!" for Alex Rodriguez and the Yanks when A-rod used the opt-out clause (see below) on his contract after 2007, as Hank Steinbrenner said "It's good-bye". A-rod knew he made the wrong decision, and, with the help of his billionaire friend Warren Buffet, signed with the Yankees a record-setting deal. He could make more then $300 million if he breaks Barry Bonds's home run record. He's on his way, as due to 35 and 30 homer campaigns in 2008 and 2009 and has 583 homers at the age of 34. Alex tasted the sweet champagne of victory as he won his first title in 2009.
Alex Rodriguez-$252 million, 10 years
A-rod signed a huge contract with the Texas Rangers (who traded him to the Yankees after 2003) which included an opt-out clause after seven years. A-rod used this (see above).
Mark Teixeira-$180 million, 10 years
Teixeira, already a premier first baseman with the Rangers, Braves and Angels, came to the Yankees seeking one thing- a world championship. The Annapolis, Maryland native with the big bat and big wallet got it in 2009, helping the Yankees get there by bashing 39 homers this past season. He won a Gold Glove and Silver Slugger this year, and hopes to win several more in his next 7 years in the Bronx.
CC Sabathia- $161 million, 7 years
The 6'7, 290 pound southpaw signed this big contract, like Teixeira, looking for one thing-a world championship, and like Teixeira, he got it. The 2007 AL Cy Young winner was great again in 2009, winning 19 games and nearly striking out 200 batters. He previously spent his whole career with the Indians except for half of the 2008 season with the Brewers where he made several starts down the stretch on 3 days rest to help them reach the playoffs. It was that durability the Yankees were looking for when they signed him to the biggest pitcher's contract ever.
Manny Ramirez-$160 million, 8 years
Manny was been great in Beantown, crushing opposing pitchers. Manny still bashes homers. He led the league in 2004 with 43. Manny had led the Sox to two World Championships, one in 2004 and one in 2007. He was traded to the Dodgers midway through 2008. Manny's contract came to an end when Los Angeles declined the slugger's 2008 option, but he signed a new contract with them.
Alfonso Soriano-$136 million, 8 years
Alfonso signed this contract with the Cubs just before 2007. This one-time 40-40 man (40 home runs, 40 stolen bases) had a great year in 2007, bashing 33 homers and accumulating a .299 batting average. He'll be looking to add a World Championship ring after he led the Cubbies from last in 2006 to first in 2007, nicking out the Brewers by an eyelash. He led them to the NL's best record in 2008, winning the NL Central.
As you can see, Major League Baseball has a very complex but successful free agent system that is beneficial to both the players and teams. I hope, that after reading this article you have a better understanding of the free agent system.

What songs makes you think?
When you listen to the words?
There are some that make me think:
Chris Tomlin-Amazing Grace"My chains are gone
I've been set free
My God, my Savior has ransomed me
And like a flood His mercy reigns
Unending love, Amazing grace
The earth shall soon dissolve like snow
The sun forbear to shine
But God, Who called me here below
Will be forever mine
Will be forever mine
You are forever mine"
(this above song makes me want to praise the Lord even more)
Alphaville-Forever young- some words in it make me think like
"Its so hard to get old without a cause
I don't want to perish like a fading horse
Youth is like diamonds in the sun
And diamonds are forever
So many adventures couldn't happen today
So many songs we forgot to play
So many dreams are swinging out of the blue
We let them come true"
that makes me think about life, and how time goes by so quickly. & it's a really good song, I just don't like the music video lol Also another song
there are a HUGE number of songs that make me think, but i'll tell you two of them:
1) of course, THE classic Bob Dylan song Like a Rolling Stone...i know its the typical Bob Dylan song to pick, but seriously, this is an AMAZING song. its just like something i can immediately relate to, its almost like wanting to sing this to all the rich arrogant people that prance around.
Once upon a time you dressed so fine
You threw the bums a dime in your prime, didn't you?
People'd call, say, "Beware doll, you're bound to fall"
You thought they were all kiddin' you
You used to laugh about
Everybody that was hangin' out
Now you don't talk so loud
Now you don't seem so proud
About having to be scrounging for your next meal.
How does it feel
How does it feel
To be without a home
Like a complete unknown
Like a rolling stone?
You've gone to the finest school all right, Miss Lonely
But you know you only used to get juiced in it
And nobody has ever taught you how to live on the street
And now you find out you're gonna have to get used to it
You said you'd never compromise
With the mystery tramp, but now you realize
He's not selling any alibis
As you stare into the vacuum of his eyes
And ask him do you want to make a deal?
How does it feel
How does it feel
To be on your own
With no direction home
Like a complete unknown
Like a rolling stone?
You never turned around to see the frowns on the jugglers and the clowns
When they all come down and did tricks for you
You never understood that it ain't no good
You shouldn't let other people get your kicks for you
You used to ride on the chrome horse with your diplomat
Who carried on his shoulder a Siamese cat
Ain't it hard when you discover that
He really wasn't where it's at
After he took from you everything he could steal.
How does it feel
How does it feel
To be on your own
With no direction home
Like a complete unknown
Like a rolling stone?
Princess on the steeple and all the pretty people
They're drinkin', thinkin' that they got it made
Exchanging all kinds of precious gifts and things
But you'd better lift your diamond ring, you'd better pawn it babe
You used to be so amused
At Napoleon in rags and the language that he used
Go to him now, he calls you, you can't refuse
When you got nothing, you got nothing to lose
You're invisible now, you got no secrets to conceal.
How does it feel
How does it feel
To be on your own
With no direction home
Like a complete unknown
Like a rolling stone?
2) the Syd Barrett song, Wouldn't You Miss Me. its very innocent and like a child talking. its very beautiful, and again something you could relate to, in a different way. i dunno...just really like this song. like begging someone to tell you if they would miss you if you were gone....
Oh where are you now
Pussy willow that smiled on this leaf?
When I was alone you promised the stone from your heart
My head kissed the ground
I was half the way down, treading the sand
Please, please, lift a hand
I'm only a person whose armbands beat
On his hands, hang tall
Won't you miss me?
Wouldn't you miss me at all?
The poppy birds way
Swing twigs coffee brands around
Brandish her wand with a feathery tongue
My head kissed the ground
I was half the way down, treading the sand
Please, please, please lift the hand
I'm only a person with Eskimo chain
I tattooed my brain all the way...
Won't you miss me?
Wouldn't you miss me at all?

I recently rented the dvd of the movie Stealth(2005). The story envisions that future fighter jets are piloted by sophisticated computers to the extent that the lethal automated jets can think on their own without human pilots. In the end, it is the humans that are charged to prevent the war instead.
I am very passionate about fighter planes. I follow the history of the development of the various military jet planes especially those that can perform precision strike missions. One of my favourites is the Grumman F-14 Tomcat.
Grumman F-14 Tomcat is a supersonic, twin-engine, two-seat, variable geometry wing aircraft. The F-14 was the United States Navy's primary maritime air superiority fighter, fleet defense interceptor and tactical reconnaissance platform from 1974 to 2006, developed after the collapse of the F-111B project, and was the first of the American teen-series fighters which were designed incorporating the experience of air combat in Vietnam against the Russian-developed MiGs.
Replacing the F-4 Phantom II, the F-14 Tomcat was retired from the U.S. Navy fleet on 22 September 2006, having been replaced by the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet. It was the largest and heaviest U.S. fighter to ever fly from an aircraft carrier, its size a consequence of the requirement to carry both the large AWG-9 radar and the extremely long-range AIM-54 Phoenix missiles.
Armament included the main gun M61 Vulcan, with 676 rounds and 4,000 or 6,000 RPM selectable firing rate. In addition, 6,700 kg of stores could also be carried for combat missions in several hard points under the belly and on wing-mounted hardpoints, usually a combination of two - four Phoenixs or Sparrows on the belly stations, two Phoenixs/Sparrows on the wing hardpoints, and two Sidewinders on the wing hardpoints. Some deployments also used four AIM-7 Sparrows (on the belly) and four AIM-9 Sidewinders (on the wingmounts).
My interest in fighter planes had me going around collecting display models. In addition, I have for many years developed paper models of these planes. With some innovative folding techniques, I have managed to develop some of them which look like the real deal. In addition to F-14 Tomcat, I manage to make origami fighter planes in the likes of the RQ-4 Global Hawk, F-117 Night Hawk and Aurora.

The University Of Illinois: A Study In Excellence
The University of Illinois opened for classes on March 2, 1868 with only two faculty members and a handful of students. The school has grown to serve tens of thousands of students with an annual budget of over $1.5 billion. The growth of the university has always focused on excellence: both in the class room and on the athletic field. Many graduates and fans want to show their school spirit. One of the best ways to do that is to buy merchandise: sweatshirts, bumper stickers, etc. the most durable way to show your spirit is to buy an Illinois cornhole set.
To date, 21 alumni and faculty members have been named Nobel prize laureates. Another 20 are Pulitzer Prize winners. John Bardeen is the only person to have won two Nobel prizes in physics. He did so in 1956 and 1972. He was a faculty member when he won both prizes. In 2003, two faculty members won Nobel prizes: Paul Lauterbur(physiology or medicine) and Anthony Legget(physics).
U of I fields a team in 10 men's and 11 women's sports in the Big Ten Conference of the NCAA's Division I. All of the teams are referred to as the Fighting Illini. The teams play at Memorial Stadium(football), Assembly Hall(basketball), and Atkins Tennis Center, and the Ice Arena. The U of I's football team claims the honor of having the first homecoming game in America. The game was held on October 15, 1910. The Illini beat a number one ranked team on the road for the first time in 2007, when they beat the Ohio State Buckeyes at the Horseshoe. The men's basketball team had a dream run in 2005 when they went 37-2 . The season ended with a loss to the North Carolina Tar Heels in the national championship game.
The Illinois cornhole set is a great way to commemorate your alumnus, or favorite team, while encouraging your family to spend quality time together. You can buy a cornhole game that is made of wood or one that is made out of heavy-duty plastic. Each has a U of I logo and comes complete with a set of eight University of Illinois cornhole bean bags. Everything that you need to have hours of family fun in your own backyard comes in one box.

I am very happy with Nintendo DSi Center it really gave me great service! I know now how to hack my Nintendo DSi now and glad I found this site.
